How? It's simple. Contribute to one of my books-in-progress. (You can sign your contributions with your initials and city, just your initials, or "Anonymous.") Then if the book gets published (always a big "if" in publishing), your story could be in it for all the world to see.
Below, you'll find (1) a FAQ about my books and (2) a list of the books for which I'm currently seeking contributions.

Q: What's your track record?
A: I have 50 books in print and others in addition that I've written for which I'm still seeking a publisher.
Q: What's my guarantee that you'll eventually publish my story?
A: Realistically, none. To begin with, I might not find a publisher for the book in question. But, hey, I've had 50 books published. The odd are in your (and my) favor. And all it's going to cost you is a few minutes of time.
Q: Can I remain anonymous?
A: You can be identified by initials, initials and state, or simply as "Anonymous." It's your choice.
Q: Suppose I have other questions?
A: Write to me at: Cynthia@CynthiaMacGregor.com I'll be happy to talk to you.
Q: All right, what are you looking for?
A: See below! You may contribute to one book, two, three, or all of them. Whatever stories you have to share.
THANK YOU!
New books for which I'm currently seeking contributions:
(1) First Loves
I am interested in the following categories: Note: You may contribute to more than one section!
(A) Teen Love (or "puppy love")
(B) Love That Lasted (teen lovers who remained together into adult relationships, especially marriage)
(C) Adult First Love (whether or not you remained together, this would be your first serious adult love)
Some of the areas you might cover (none of these is required, and other areas can certainly be covered in addition) include
Make your contribution as long or as short as you want. (All contributions are subject to editing.) Memorialize your first love.
Please sign your contribution the way you want it signed in the book. (Initials and state, or initials without a state, or "Anonymous.")
(2) My First Job
For this book, I am seeking contributions for the following sections:
(a) After-school jobs
(b) Summer jobs
(c) Full-time, permanent jobs
Again, as in the book above, you can contribute to one, two. or all of the sections.
To make the book more interesting, you can give your contribution humor and/or human interest. Here are some of the things you might want to include. Remember, you do not have to answer every one, and you are totally free to tell of other things not included in the following list:
Please sign your contribution the way you want it signed in the book. (Initials and state, or initials without a state, or "Anonymous.")
(3) Occupational Hazards
This is a book for which I have been collecting material for some time now. It is to feature stories of funny mishaps at work. These can have happened to you or someone you know. (But please, no tenthhand "Xerox humor" or "EMail humor." I prefer firsthand humor-stuff that happened to you. If it didn't happen to you, I want stories either that you witnessed or that happened to someone you know not just something you heard about.) Whether you shredded your paycheck, got caught photocopying your butt, greeted an important client with spinach in your teeth (or your fly open or one eye made up and one not), or in some other way had a really bad day at work to put it mildly if it was funny, please share it with us.
Please sign your contribution the way you want it signed in the book. (Initials and state, or initials without a state, or "Anonymous.")
Again, the address to write to -- with contributions or questions -- is Cynthia@CynthiaMacGregor.com. I hope to hear from you. The more of you I hear from, the better the books will be!
